Ivana Kupala is a vibrant summer solstice festival celebrating Ukrainian traditions like fire jumping, wreath-making, and folklore. Organized for over 14 years, the event has grown beyond Minnesota, attracting guests from across the U.S.
With a mix of traditional rituals and modern celebrations, including live music and a festive atmosphere, Ivana Kupala is a unique way to experience Ukrainian culture.

For over 75 years, the Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Ensemble has celebrated Ukrainian culture in Minneapolis. With 150 dancers across five groups, they perform traditional dances at events across the Twin Cities, the U.S., and Canada.
Cheremosh trains weekly on Sundays, preserving Ukrainian dance through technique and choreography.

The Protez Foundation provides high-quality prosthetics to Ukrainians who lost limbs due to war. Based in Minnesota, we've helped 380+ patients with 600+ prosthetics, including children and civilians.
Beyond care, we train specialists—hosting summits for 800+ professionals and bringing 80 Ukrainian experts to the U.S. As Ukrainian doctors advance, we now focus on complex cases with a multidisciplinary approach.
We're also working to open clinics in Ukraine to expand care locally.

Founded 17 years ago by Stefani Viskavich and Alexi Christij, the Ukrainian Village Band celebrates Ukrainian culture through music and community events. What began as a wedding band has expanded to organizing festivals like Ivana Kapala and training the next generation of musicians, including their own children.

Established in 1971, St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church in Minneapolis is a spiritual and cultural home for Ukrainians in Minnesota. Its architecture reflects Ukrainian heritage, featuring a dome with national symbols and sacred mosaics inspired by St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv.
The church preserves relics of saints and houses a museum dedicated to Patriarch Josyf Slipyj. With a vibrant choir and deep-rooted traditions, it continues to unite the community in faith.

Founded in 1925, St. Michael’s and St. George’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Minneapolis has been a pillar of faith and culture for generations. Built by Ukrainian immigrants, it remains a welcoming home for both longtime parishioners and newcomers from Ukraine.
The church fosters community through worship, support for those in need, and cherished traditions like the Easter egg and bake sale and Christmas Vertep. More than a place of worship, it is a family, preserving Ukrainian heritage while embracing new beginnings.

Founded in 1989 in Arden Hills, MN, St. Katherine Ukrainian Orthodox Church serves as a spiritual and cultural hub for the community. It features a library with Ukrainian and English-language books, hosts cultural events like Easter egg painting, and welcomes visitors to its vibrant parish life.
Led by choir conductor Alexi Chris, the church offers traditional Ukrainian liturgical music, with occasional English-language services. Everyone is welcome to join in worship, celebrations, and community gatherings, including the annual St. Nicholas Day program by the parish Sunday School.

The Ukrainian American Community Center supports newcomers arriving through U4U and UHP programs by connecting them with essential resources and services. Our Family Resource Connectors provide step-by-step guidance, emergency assistance (housing, technology, transportation), and youth programs to help families adjust.
We also offer cultural events, social groups, and educational workshops to support integration. Every Friday, we host seminars on employment, healthcare, and more to help newcomers navigate life in the U.S.

The Family Education Supports Program at the Ukrainian American Community Center helps students from kindergarten through high school overcome academic, behavioral, and social challenges. We provide personalized support through tutoring, after-school programs, and emotional guidance, helping students build strong study habits and confidence. Our mentors create trusting relationships, offering one-on-one support and connecting students with resources for college and career readiness. We also encourage involvement in extracurricular activities like sports and arts to develop essential life skills.
Our program serves families across seven metro area counties, working closely with schools to address individual needs and set personalized goals. By offering home visits, school meetings, and workshops, we ensure that each student receives the support needed for success in both school and life.

The Ukrainian American Community Center (UACC) is dedicated to empowering youth through programs that connect them with their Ukrainian heritage and help develop leadership skills. From the Minnesota Ukrainian Youth Association to youth leadership camps and cultural events, our programs offer a sense of community and pride in their roots.
In response to the war, we’ve organized summer camps for refugee children and created the Kids for Ukraine group, which has raised thousands of dollars for the cause. Through these initiatives, we continue to inspire and support the next generation of leaders.

The Stand with Ukraine Minnesota (SWUMN) team is dedicated to providing critical medical supplies, emergency evacuation vehicles, and direct aid to those in need. With donations from the U.S., we purchase vehicles in Europe and deliver them to Ukraine, ensuring life-saving support reaches the front lines.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, SWUMN has sent over 30 emergency vehicles, helping evacuate the wounded from danger zones. Our network of volunteers in Poland and Ukraine ensures aid is delivered quickly and efficiently.
