UACC Lecture Series

A talk from an expert is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to buff up on their Ukraine knowledgeI ALL are welcome to this free event.

How did the average Americans and Ukrainians from the diaspora view Ukraine in 1920s and 1930s?
Dr. Danylo Kravets, a Fulbright visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota and researcher at Vasyl Stefanyk Lviv National Scientific Library of Ukraine, will answer this question and present his research, which is based on hundreds of articles in U.S. press regarding situation in Ukraine during the interwar period, including rich archive materials and memoirs of those travelers who have been to Ukraine in 1920s-1930s.
