Ukrainian Center’s Annual Appeal
Pryvit ‘Ukrainian Center’ Community!
In 2022, when Ukraine got reinvaded and its very existence is in mortal danger, the Ukrainian Center became our community Hub for providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
We redoubled our efforts to educate our federal and state representatives about Ukraine’s needs and to advocate for action against the invaders and US aid for Ukraine. We formed our community’s crisis response team to organize rallies and protests, and raised funds for much needed medical and refugee humanitarian aid. We began providing refugee services, classes and informational support for newly arrived Ukrainians in the Twin Cities. All this while continuing our usual youth and cultural activities and advancement of Ukrainian heritage, culture and history.
